Testimonials from 2009/2010 season
Angels on Stage is a safe caring place where our children can shine. As the parent of an Angel, the first thing I noticed was the staff. When you see the way the board members work and interact with the kids you immediately know that they "get it". It doesn't matter what challenge a child may face, the staff does everything possible to ensure a stress free environment that gives every Angel a chance to shine. - Parents of an angel, Jim and Kitty RankinClick here to read complete story Angels on Stage has been a great experience for me. I love working with kids, especially kids with certain abilities. This is their place to shine, their place to be themselves and have people here for them. I love these kids and they inspire us to do anything and I hope they go far in life. - Buddy coach, Allison Gadnar Amazing. Inspiring. Life-changing. There aren't enough words to describe all that is Angels on Stage. Every week these Angels leave us in awe of their abilities, their passion, their creativity and their love. The way Angels on stage empowers our children is simply awesome. As a mom I sat through the performances and sobbed the biggest tears of pride and joy I have ever felt, not just for my Gabriel, but for every single Angel on the stage. If you have ever wondered what life is all about, come see our Angels and they will show you, beyond measure, the only things that matter. They will fill your heart with awe, joy and hope. I think that is the greatest gift of Angels on Stage. It changes the lives of not just the Angels and their families, but EVERYONE who comes and opens themselves up for the experience. - Parent of an angel, Jeanne Griffith

Testimonials from 2008/2009 season
Click here to read a parent's response to her child's performance One season with Angels on Stage did more for my son than all the years and thousands of dollars of professional therapy. -Parent of an Angel, Bobbi Tafoya Working with Angels on Stage has begun a new chapter in my life. This chapter is five thousand laughs long, two hundred outstretched arms wide, and fifty tears of joy deep. This chapter in my life can not be read by someone else. Therefore, I suggest to begin your own chapter with Angels on Stage. I assure you your time and effort will be well spent. - Buddy coach, Jessica Dirkson The positive, electrifying energy, was infectious and consuming. It was a feeling I have never experienced before...and it was so surreal because it was simultaneously, equally shared, by hundreds of people each day. When does that ever happen? I'm still tearing up over it today (and I haven't even started thinking about the fact that we're done for awhile). Like I said, there are no words to remotely do justice in trying to explain what this feels like...simply magical. Thank you for letting me come along for the ride. -Staff member, Matt Tondag This is truly a unique setting because of a lot of reasons. First, unconditional love and acceptance. Everyone understands that there is no such thing as "different". What we have is a lot of precious souls. So much time when parents are out in public we can be "on guard" watching our childs behavior and praying that they do not do X, Y, or Z etc. I think the kids pick up on this "stress". When we participate in AoS we all let down our guard, and I know that the kids feel that. I am amazed at how incredibly well behaved they all are. Behaved and engaged. Everyone understands and no one judges. It is such a safe place for all. Everyone can feel the love and acceptance. I am not sure who gets more out of the experience, the parents, angels, or buddies. Imagine if the whole world could be like that! -Parent of an Angel, Lynda Wootan Your Efforts Paid Off - Big Time - And I Thank You, for myself of course, but mainly for the children that deserved the opportunity you provided them. I would hope that some day, those who don't share our common experience, may, through your efforts, see that these children are deserving of all that life can offer, to see that the differences, are OK , and that the children are worthy of their love, respect, compassion and tolerance. -Grandfather of an Angel, Tim Anderson Angels on Stage has made me want to work harder and be a better teacher. You have encouraged me to be the very best I can possibly me. Thank you. -Community supporter, Teresa Dirkson What a beautiful, beautiful thing you, and Angel, and all the kids and all the parents and sibs and coaches have created! -Community supporter, Laura Clow Appleton© 2009 Angels On Stage
